• PRAYER OF CONFESSION:
  O Lord, no day of our life has passed that has not proved us guilty in Your sight. Prayers have been uttered from a prayerless heart; praise has been often praiseless sound; our best services are filthy rags.  Blessed Jesus, let us find a refuge in Your appeasing wounds. Though our sins rise to heaven Your merits soar above them; though unrighteousness weighs us down to the depths, Your righteousness exalts us to Your throne. All things in us call for our rejection, all things in You plead our acceptance. We appeal from the throne of perfect jus- tice to Your throne of boundless grace, grant us to hear Your assuring voice; that by Your stripes we are healed, that You were bruised for our iniquities, that You have been made sin for us that we might be righteous in You, that our grievous sins, our manifold sins, are all forgiven, buried in the ocean of Your concealing blood. Keep us always clinging to Your cross, flood us every moment with descending grace. In Your merciful name we pray. Amen.

1. WESTSIDE COMMUNITY PICKLEBALL EVENT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
   On Saturday, July 26th at Silverado Park from 8:00 am – 1:00 pm, FOL is partnering with the Westside Promise by providing volunteers from our church family for a Westside Community Pickleball event! Let’s come together to serve, support, connect, and have fun. Your involvement will help to create a joyful and welcoming atmosphere for event participants. Volunteer opportunities include assistance with set-up, registration, lawn games, clean up and more. Please save-the-date and sign up HERE. Connie via Slack if you have any questions.  
   
   
2. THE WELL SUMMER HIKE
   Join the Well for a hike on August 2nd, 8 am at the El Dorado Park Nature Center. If you'd like to carpool to avoid paying $8 for parking, more information is available in The Well channel on Slack or you can text Kelli. The hike is very gentle, no hiking experience necessary! Bring a coffee and a friend, we hope to see you there. See the flyer HERE.
   
   
3. PASTORAL PRAYER
   Pastor Kim would love to be able to pray for you. If you have any prayer concerns please let her know by entering your request on this form. You do not need to share your identity - it can be completely confidential if this is your preference. One the primary roles of your pastor, or of any spiritual leader, is to carry you on their heart and to therefore carry you into the presence of God as they pray for you.
