  Merciful Lord, we confess that with us there is an abundance of sin, but in you there is the fullness of righteousness and abundance of mercy. We are spiritually poor, but you are rich and in Jesus Christ came to be merciful to the poor. Strengthen our faith and trust in you. We are empty vessels that need to be filled; fill us. We are weak in faith; strengthen us. We are cold in love; warm us, and make our hearts fervent for you that our love may go out to one another and to our neighbors. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. ANNOUNCEMENTS 

1. THE WELL SUMMER HIKE
   Join the Well for a hike on August 2nd, 8 am at the El Dorado Park Nature Center. If you'd like to carpool to avoid paying $8 for parking, more information is available in The Well channel on Slack or you can text Kelli. The hike is very gentle, no hiking experience necessary! Bring a coffee and a friend, we hope to see you there. See the flyer HERE.
   
   
2. YOUTH CAR WASH-A-THON FUNDRAISER THANK YOU
   On behalf of our youth pastor, James Carroll, and our youth ministry team, we want to express our deep gratitude for your generosity in supporting our youth Car Wash-a-thon fundraiser by bringing your cars to be washed and for pledging and donating funds. The youth washed 56 cars and raised $2,862.67! All of the funds raised will provide scholarships for the Youth Summer Camp taking place July 28 - August 1. We are over half way to our scholarship fundraising goal! If you still would like to support financially, but didn’t get the chance to support the car wash, or If you have any questions about your pledge or how to pay, please let James know. We also welcome your prayers for our staff, leaders and all of the middle schoolers and high schoolers who will attend.
   
   
3. LAUP SUMMER CAMP THANK YOU
   Thank you, FOL, for your prayers and support for the summer kids camp. We had a wonderful closing lunch on Friday for kids, families, and everyone who served at camp. Thank you Gabi and the Cortez family for catering.
   The FOL staff team would like to say thank you to a long list of people who served either on site, or with planning everything from snacks (AKA The Anti Hangry Task Force), to games, dance activities, and crafts. Thanks to Josh Apostal, Eulshik, Nelly, Hannah, Bailee, Kelli, Gaby, Rosy, Stephanie and the rest of the Chang gang. Thank you to James and the youth helpers, Marcus, Mateo, Neo, and Toby, who led some outstanding games. We praise God for each person who served and we are grateful for making the last 4 weeks special for the kids.
   
   
4. PASTORAL PRAYER
   Pastor Kim would love to be able to pray for you. If you have any prayer concerns please let her know by entering your request on this form. You do not need to share your identity - it can be completely confidential if this is your preference. One the primary roles of your pastor, or of any spiritual leader, is to carry you on their heart and to therefore carry you into the presence of God as they pray for you.
