    Merciful Lord, we confess that with us there is an abundance of sin, but in you there is the fullness of righteousness and abundance of mercy. We are spiritually poor, but you are rich and in Jesus Christ came to be merciful to the poor. Strengthen our faith and trust in you. We are empty vessels that need to be filled; fill us. We are weak in faith; strengthen us. We are cold in love; warm us, and make our hearts fervent for you that our love may go out to one another and to our neighbors. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

  1. THE WELL EVENT
    For the ladies of church, just a reminder that The Well Group is heading to the Long Beach Museum of Latin American Art tomorrow after church. They will meet for lunch at Kin Long Beach Kitchen beforehand. The address is 740 E Broadway Long Beach. Feel free to carpool, Kelli is happy to drive folks if needed.

  2. MINISTRY RETREAT
    Our Ministry Team Retreat for ministry teams and leaders across all of FOL is this coming weekend, Friday, November 14 through Saturday the 15th at Camp Maranatha in Idyllwild, CA This will be a time of powerful worship – a worship band is coming to lead our hearts and bodies in worship to God, a time of focused prayer, time in the Word, and a time for you to spend in planning and mutual encouragement with other folks in your ministry team. We have created a very flexible schedule. We will all spend time together for worship, vision and mission renewal in the Word and prayer, but for five hours each team has the opportunity to craft their own ministry team time together OR to spend time in team building sessions with Pastor Kim. Registration closes at the end of the day on Tuesday, November 11th, so we encourage you to please sign up HERE before then!
