ORDER OF WORSHIP

  • ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • CALL TO WORSHIP (Psalm 18:1–3)

  • SONG OF ADORATION

  • COMMUNITY CONFESSION:
Holy Father, forgive us. Though you should guide us, we inform ourselves. Though you should rule us, we control ourselves. Though you should fulfill us, we console ourselves. For we think your truth too high, your will too hard, your power to remote, your love too free. But they are not! And without them, we are of all people most miserable. Heal our confused mind with your word, heal our divided will with your law, heal our troubled conscience with your love, heal our anxious hearts with your presence, all for the sake of your Son, who loved us and gave himself for us. Amen.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

  1. WORSHIP MINISTRY
Do you love to sing and can carry a tune? Play a musical instrument? Like to fiddle with buttons and levers and want to make sure everyone can hear the music? We invite y'all to talk to Dan Palomino about serving on the worship team. We are in need of singers, instrumentalists and people for sound board.

  2. THE WELL GALENTINE’S DAY
Celebrate Galentine's Day with the Well today, after church at 2nd and PCH for food, fun, and roller skating. Skating is totally optional, so please come just for lunch, crafts, and community if you prefer!

  3. PRAYER
Prayer is a priority for us here at FOL. There is a prayer table at the front of the church. You are invited at any time in our service to come forward and light a candle. As the wick of the candle burns and the smoke goes up to the heavens - this is a symbolic representation of your prayer ascending to the heavens, into the very throne room of God. You can write your prayer down on a prayer card and place it in the box beside the prayer table. Pastor Kim and the staff will be happy to pray for your requests throughout the week. You will notice that the candles are in either a blue or a red container. The red is to remind us that we have access into the presence of God because of the blood of Christ. The blue is to remind us that we are united with Christ through baptism of water - and Jesus loves to hear our prayers.

  4. TITHES AND OFFERINGS
You may give online (folcov.org/give) or place your offering in the wooden box to the right of the stage.
