    Gracious God, we confess that we have longed too much for the comforts of this world. We have loved the gifts more than the giver. In your mercy, help us to see that all the things we pine for are shadows, but you are substance; that they are quicksands, but you are mountain; that they are shifting, but you are anchor. We plead your forgiveness on the merits of Jesus Christ. Accept his worthiness for our unworthiness, his sinlessness for our transgressions, his fullness for our emptiness, his glory for our shame, his righteousness for our dead works, his death for our life. We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.

  1. GOOD FRIDAY SERVICE
    Please join us for our Good Friday Service on April 3rd at 7pm. The service will be held at Long Beach Church on the corner of Atlantic Blvd. and 37th Street. All are welcome. We hope that you will be able to join us for this time of remembrance.

  2. EASTER SERVICE
    We wait with great anticipation as we celebrate Jesus’ Resurrection on Easter Sunday, April 5th. Please invite friends, family and neighbors to this celebration service. All are welcome! We will have crafts, goodie bags, and fun activities for kids of all ages. Please join us for light refreshments after service.

  3. THE WELL TEA EVENT
    Please join the Well for a spring tea! April 25, 2pm-4pm in the Vos backyard (6537 E Harco Street Long Beach 90808). Youth and elementary gals are welcome too! RSVP by clicking HERE.

  4. BAPTISM SERVICE
    If you would like to be baptized, we will have a baptism service on Sunday, April 26 at the beach! Please reach out to Debbie via Slack or at debbie@folcov.org if you are interested in being baptized.
