In the fall of 1999, Jesus called three InterVarsity staff workers to follow him into his great plans for South Los Angeles. That call has become More Than Conquerors, the InterVarsity Christian Fellowship chapters at Cal State Dominguez Hills and Compton City College. God has proven true to his promised in our first two years of planting student communities of faith on college campuses in the South Bay. In the past two years we have seen Jesus’ glory and experienced him in entirely new dimensions, far exceeding our hopes and expectations. In the spirit of Joshua, who built an altar to God when God’s people entered the new land, we wanted to capture, remember and celebrate God’s works among us. We hope that our website might capture a small picture of the "Kingdom Life" that God has graciously given to us in More Than Conquerors.

As you check out the site, we hope you will find stories that inspire you to greater faith, issues that stir your heart to prayer and resources for your personal and church ministry. We have also included student testimonies and many great pictures so that you can get to know some of the Conquerors. We would like to extend an especially warm greeting to the parents of our students. We want this website to be a resource for you to become more familiar with InterVarsity and be more informed about your child's life while they are at college. We thank you for raising such great children. The MTC staff team feels like we have the best job in the world because we are able to work on a college campus with wonderful and gifted people like your children.
