    Almighty God, we acknowledge and confess that we have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed; we have not loved you with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength; we have not loved our neighbor as ourselves. Deepen within us our sorrow for the wrong we have done, and the good we have left undone. Lord, you are full of compassion and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy; there is always forgiveness with you! Restore to us the joy of your salvation; bind up that which is broken, give light to our minds, strength to our wills, and rest to our souls. Speak to each of us, and let your word abide with us until it has wrought in us your holy will.  AMEN

    The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love.He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever; he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities.   1. LOVE OUR CITY EVENT, OCT 12, 9AM-12PM
    On Saturday, October 12, from 9-12pm, let’s love and serve our community together. The Long Beach Church Collective is sponsoring another “Love Our City” event. Churches come together from all over our region to love and serve our communities. FOL is leading a West Long Beach Community Alley Clean Up and we’d love for you and your family and especially our youth to join us in blessing the city. There are multiple ways to serve if you can’t make the alley clean up. Connie Loggins will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

    Please mark your calendar for our FOL Member’s Meeting on October 20, 2024, at Noon, directly following service.
