  Merciful Lord, we confess that with us there is an abundance of sin, but in you there is the fullness of righteousness and abundance of mercy. We are spiritually poor, but you are rich and in Jesus Christ came to be merciful to the poor. Strengthen our faith and trust in you. We are empty vessels that need to be filled; fill us. We are weak in faith; strengthen us. We are cold in love; warm us, and make our hearts fervent for you that our love may go out to one another and to our neighbors. ANNOUNCEMENTS

1. POSTPONED: TRAUMA CARE / HEALING SEMINAR, SAT FEB 1, 2025
   Postponement of the 11/16 Trauma Care/Healing Training: We received the unfortunate news that Dr. John Knight, who was set to lead the training, had an accident where he suffered multiple bone breaks to his ribs. He will need time to recover and will not be able to lead on the November date. We will be postponiing the training to Saturday, February 1, 2025. We pray for the Lord to minister Dr. John as he heals and recovers.
   
   
2. VOTING: FAMILY CENTER RENEWAL PROJECT
   FOL family, thank you for joining us as we continue our discernment process related to whether we will move forward with our Family Center Renewal Project. Voting for members is open and you should have received your ballot link via email and/or text last Sunday. If you are a member and did not receive a link, please send a message to Debbie Liu via Slack or at debbie@folcov.org and she will be happy to assist you. Voting will close on Saturday, 11/09, at 5pm and results will be announced the following day. The Lead Team has agreed that we will determine that we have a go-ahead from the congregation under the following circumstances: We will need 80% of the congregation to agree that the Lord is calling us to move forward with the Family Center Renewal Project. This does not mean 80% of the votes received, but 80% of the congregation will have voted "yes." We await the Lord's direction through our community of faith.
   
   
3. FAMILY CAMP SURVEY – THANK YOU!
   Thank you to everyone who filled out the Family Camp survey. On the survey you had an opportunity to indicate if you were interested in joining an incubator team to design an optimal spiritual formation event/experience that would be most meaningful to our FOL culture. Since the survey was confidential, we do not have names or contact information for those who indicated their desire to be involved. If you are interested in being on the incubator team please scan the QR code below and fill out the form. Thank you very much for your input!
