  Our Father, we thank you for the freedom you have given us through the life, death and resurrection of your Son. But we confess today that we often live like slaves. Instead of living like you delight in us, we avoid you in shame and guilt. Instead of receiving your favor as a gift, we try to earn it with our efforts. Instead of accepting your freedom, we prefer our chains. Instead of pursuing your purposes, we cling to our short-sighted agendas. Forgive us. Embrace us. Cleanse us. Heal us. ANNOUNCEMENTS

1. INTERESTED IN FOL MEMBERSHIP?
   We are thankful for the new faces that we have seen over the last few years here at FOL. We are so thankful for your presence among us and your participation in our faith community. We will be offering an "Interested in what it means to be a member meeting" in the coming months so that you can ask questions about membership as you desire. We will have a few staff members present so you can find out about them, their background, and also the work they do here at FOL. This is not a meeting for folks who are committed to joining the church as members. This is just a meeting where you can ask questions about the church and about membership! We will ask anyone interested to fill out this form so that we can determine a time that would work for everyone - whether in-person or via zoom.
   
   
2. PRACTICING THE WAY GROUPS
   Last chance to join a Practicing the Way group. We'd love to have you join a small group where you can learn the practices of God's kingdom together.
   
   
3. THE WELL EVENT SAVE-THE-DATES
   Save-the-date for two upcoming Well events for the women of our church. On Friday, November 22, enjoy a movie night at the Changs. Second, The Well is hosting a lovely Tea event on Saturday, December 7, 2pm, at the Uyematsu residence. Please come and invite friends. RSVP to the Tea by November 29.
   
   
4. SABBATH MEAL INVITATION
   Pastor Kim and Bill take a sabbath from sundown on Sunday to sundown on Monday. On Sunday evening we would love to share a Sabbath feast with you. You are invited to sign up for a Sunday sometime between now and March 2025. We are hoping that 2 or 3 families could join us each week for a time of sharing both a meal and our lives with one another.
