FOL Announces Transition Pastor
We are pleased to announce that the Rev. Dr. Tim Dally will serve as transition pastor for Fountain of Life Covenant Church! Pastor Tim has a wealth of ministry experience and has served as a senior pastor, church planter, youth pastor, and executive pastor. He has led two Covenant churches, most recently, Pasadena Covenant Church. Pastor Tim also serves as professor of ministry and biblical studies at Hope International University in Fullerton.
Pastor Tim and Elaine attended FOL in 2018, so they are familiar with—and have a deep love for—the work that God is doing in West Long Beach. After attending FOL for a year, Elaine took on a position as an emergency room chaplain and her schedule did not allow them to commute to Long Beach for church.
In college, Pastor Tim wanted to “play basketball, race cars, and become Picasso,” but these goals were set aside after the sudden loss of his father. He began to discern God's call on his life and received his call to ministry.
Pastor Tim and Elaine have four children and seven grandchildren. Continuing a tradition among FOL pastors, he is a diehard Lakers and Dodgers fan.
Please join us this Sunday, 2/27, as we welcome Pastor Tim. During the service, members of the FOL Officers will introduce him and he'll have a chance to share more. After service, please stay for an informal time to meet Pastor Tim and enjoy coffee and snacks outside in the lunch pavilion. He will preach his first sermon on 3/13.
