- CALL TO WORSHIP
We come before you Lord with joyful songs, because you are good, because you are generous, because we lack nothing. Let us enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise. We come before you Lord with joy, because you are faithful to your promises, because your Word is eternal. Let us enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise. We know that the Lord is God, and we are his people, his community, his family. Let us enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise. It is you who have made us to the praise of your name, and therefore today, in the same spirit, we want to celebrate his life in us and among us in song, and dance and praise. Let us enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise.
- SONG OF ADORATION: Caroline Sato & Worship Team
- PRAYER OF CONFESSION
Leader: I invite you to be seated or to kneel and to pray aloud with me the words that are printed here.
All: O Holy One, we call to you and name you as eternal, ever-‐present, and boundless in love. Yet there are times, O God, when we fail to recognize you in the dailyness of our lives. Sometimes shame clenches tightly around our hearts, and we hide our true feelings. Sometimes fear makes us small, and we miss the chance to speak from our strength. Sometimes doubt invades our hopefulness, and we degrade our own wisdom. Have mercy upon us forgive us for we often do not know what we do. Remove our guilt and cover our shame O merciful and gracious Savior.
- ASSURANCE OF PARDON
Leader: Holy God, in the daily round from sunrise to sunset, remind us again of your holy presence hovering near us and in us. Free us from our self-doubt, let our hearts and minds and bodies rest in the assurance of your love, acceptance, delight and joy in us because of Jesus Christ. Remind us O God that If the Son sets us free, we are free indeed! In our freedom from sin and self and doubt and fear help us to see you in the moment-by-moment possibilities to live honestly, to act courageously and to speak from your wisdom. Amen. - SONGS: Caroline & Team
- SCRIPTURE READING (1 Thessalonians 1): Steven Chang

- COMMUNION: Pastor Kim Morrison
