- COMMUNITY CONFESSION:
O Lord, we openly admit that you know us thoroughly. Our deepest secrets are open before you. You know our thoughts before they are conceived in our minds. We cannot hide from you. Therefore, we ask that you discover unto us our sins so that we may humble ourselves again in your presence and seek your forgiveness and grace. We admit we have tolerated sinful thoughts about power, lust, greed, jealousy, malice and other things that grieve your heart. We have committed sins of omission and commission. But we seek your mercy and cleansing from our sins by the blood of Christ. And we thank you for your Spirit who enables us to walk in holiness and obedience. Give us the grace to please you this day and forever. In Jesus’ name, Amen. - ASSURANCE OF PARDON (Psalm 103:8-12)

- CROSSWALK PARENT MEETING
For all parents and caregivers of children that go to Crosswalk, after you pick up your children from their Crosswalk classes today, please join Sarah Groot at the lunch tables for a quick 15 minute meeting to talk about the Christmas program our kids will be doing. She can't wait to share what is in store for this Christmas season! See you then. - THE WELL EVENT
Take in some fine art and enjoy the company of other FOL ladies next Sunday November 9th as we hang out at the Long Beach Museum of Latin American Art after church. Admission is free on Sundays! Contact Kelli if you have any questions! - MINISTRY RETREAT
Our Ministry Team Retreat for ministry teams and leaders across all of FOL is just around the corner. We are asking ministry team members to consider setting aside 30 hours to take time away with God and each other from Friday 11/14 at 4pm to Saturday 11/15 at 6pm, at Camp Maranatha in Idyllwild, CA. This will be a time of powerful worship – a worship band is coming to lead our hearts and bodies in worship to God, a time of focused prayer, time in the Word, and a time for you to spend in planning and mutual encouragement with other folks in your ministry team. We will close registration at the end of the day on Tuesday, November 11th, so we encourage you to please sign up HERE before then! - 2025 BIKING FOR CONGO CHALLENGE
We have a great opportunity to join in the global work of ECC in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Did you know that some people in DR Congo travel over 50 kilometers (31 miles) on a bicycle to a hospital, while sick or injured? And what's even harder to believe is that when they arrive at the hospital, limited medicines, clean water, and medical training often prevent a person from getting better.
FOL is invited to participate in the 2025 Biking for Congo Challenge which will support ECC’s UCare4Congo work to provide holistic healthcare. Based upon the vision of Dr. Paul Carlson (a medical missionary with the ECC who was killed while serving in the DR Congo) and the vision of the Covenant Church of Congo medical leaders today, UCare4Congo supports the entire Covenant Church of Congo medical system, which includes training medical professionals, providing medicines and supplies, improving infrastructure and clean water sources, and supporting quality patient care. If you would like to support this important work, please join the FOL Biking team by clicking HERE. You may choose to create your own team, bike to raise support, or simply donate. HERE is a link to the flyer. - TITHES AND OFFERINGS
You may give online (folcov.org/give) or place your offering in the wooden box to the right of the stage.
