Preparing Our Hearts for the Eucharist

Each Saturday prior to a Sunday when we celebrate communion also known as the Eucharist we shall be led to confession and repentance of sin as a means of preparing our hearts for Worship and Eucharist. Today we are helped by a prayer of confession from the Church of England. We shall consider three ways of seeing for which we might repent as suggested in the book Introducing Radical Orthodoxy. And we shall conclude with assurance of forgiveness.
